Farley Headframe - Rakowski Cartage

Farley Headframe

The abandoned headframe in Lynn Lake, Manitoba, stood 250 feet tall and was clad in asbestos hardboard. Over 200,000 pounds of scaffolding was required to access and remove the sprayed-on ACM, which took five months to complete. Using linear shaped charges, the 250 foot structure took less than three seconds to come down.
