Kaz Rakowski founded Rakowski Cartage & Wrecking Ltd. in 1964 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, with one truck and a dream to provide for his family. Today, the firm is still operated by the Rakowski family on the principles of hard work, honesty and fairness.
Rakowski Cartage & Wrecking has grown to include a sizeable team of professional wreckers, a wide range of demolition equipment and a roster of five or six jobs going on at a time – anywhere in Canada. The firm provides a wide range of safety-focused demolition services, including specialty blasting, hazardous waste removal and environmentally sound site remediation.
